There's an 'IMAX' at our local multiplex, but I guess you wouldn't approve. We saw Force Awakens there and it was impressive. I've not been in a full-sized IMAX yet. I don't think there's one near us. Probably some in London.

The only thing that matters is whether or not you enjoyed your experience. If you did than you got your money's worth. It's easy for me to be picky, I only have to drive a little extra. But if I didn't have one close, I'm sure I would enjoy the digital version just fine. I guess I would think of it as paying a "convenience" premium and I'd be fine.
