The old man dropped to his knees. He reached out his hands, laying them flat on the ground. Suddenly frost started to form around his fingers, and then like icy tentacles the frost extended beyond his fingertips towards the soldiers. The man felt bad for the horses who were innocent in all of this...but it couldn't be avoided. The frost climbed everything. The soldiers watched in horror as their extremities began to freeze.
