It's hard, they really do speak very different languages and have very different styles of fighting, but they also have a lot in common.... walking around all day with swords, wearing just loads of armour into battle and doing the bidding of their leader. It's a tough gig, especially since you can be attacked at any time, even at night when you're asleep. I'd hate to be woken up for a battle... just wait until morning... jerks.

That said... their jobs are mostly pretty easy... the training is brutal... but on patrol you just have to walk around and make sure everything is to your leader's liking.... just, whatever you don't... don't let your leader get assassinated... it's not a good look.

In short though, yes, both groups love corresponding with each other... even through difficult language barriers.

samurai
" |
