They are working on adding GPU mining. The other cool thing about BOID is as you are mining the coin, you are also solving real world problems like mapping cancer markers or parsing data from space to search for signs of life. <\/p>\n<p>It is a really exciting process. Even if you are mining with a GPU, you are still probably going to want to join a pool. It is just more cost effective to mine as part of a pool.
