Here the different resources in musing are:

Musers

SP of musing account

Voting weight

Voting Power

Resource credits

Delegated SP

Musing platform

Internet and devices through which a muser is being able to participate in musing community

With regard to the question asked here it is imperative to note that the subject matter is related to the resources like Voting weight and Voting Power. We all know musing has currently 1075432 SP including the delegation it has received. As per current algorithm, it is voting at the rate of 1%, 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% etc. And the voting power it is always keeping above 80%, so that depletion of VP will be recharged every day by 20% and it can become full again, but I think the voting weight can be optimized in a much better way than the existing, keeping the effective amount same.

Let’s try to understand with the following.

SP-1075432

VP-90%( Let’s take average figure in between 80% and 100%)

Voting Weight – 1%, 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%

So with

1% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 0.52

3% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 1.55

5% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 2.32

10% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 4.64

15% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 6.97

20% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 9.29

Now if we keep the voting amount same, then it can be achieved with a much lower voting weight than the existing, in the following way:

0.57% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 0.52

2.79% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 1.55

4.46% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 2.32

9.46% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 4.64

14.46% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 6.97

19.46% voting weight, the effective voting amount – 9.29

The above values are calculated from steemnow.com

So it very clear that there will be considerable saving of voting weight and these saving of voting weight will further help to accommodate more users as the number of users is increasing on daily basis, so it is equally essential to make proper management of resources like voting weight & voting power.

So if effective voting amount can happen even with lower voting weight then why to unnecessarily waste the voting power. Because voting power takes a certain time to recharge and if the number of users goes up, then it will be very difficult to vote every good questions and answers which is valuable for the community.

If musing will curate based on the above proposed voting weight, then I am sure it can roughly save around 15 to 20% of the total voting weight utilized on daily basis, which can be used for curating more topics, questions and answers and can also contribute to efficient management of the musing community as a whole.

What would you suggest for voting weight management by musing?"}"
