Tests are being done around the world currently on how many plastic particles are in the fish and shell fish.

What I found alarming is the mussels and oysters being farmed in France have all been found to contain these particles. Our body consumes the fish but won't be able to digest the plastics. The more seafood we consume the bigger the problem will become.

I wouldn't have a clue what side affects it will cause inside our bodies as I think the problem is too early and is only showing up over the last few years. maybe the way forward is filtered sea water tanks that stops plastic entering the food chain of the fish and therefore protecting us.

It is a sad state of affairs when we look at how bad the pollution problem is and it is only being highlighted now. How many years will it take the pollution to stop and what is required to clean the ocean from this hidden hazard.

What are the dangers of sea-foods?
food
" |
