I feel like I should have seen this coming. In the very beginning, I was one of the first users to start livestreaming on the DLive platform. Not only did I put in hours of my precious time, I made lot of investments to make sure to make my streams look "as professional" as possible. And they did look professional eventually, but that didn't really matter...

At the start, it felt great, the monetizing rewards were great & you actually felt like this is heading somewhere... But as time passed, what I realized was, the primary focus of DLive was always at their team instead of content creators. They were basically circle jerking with millions of $ they received from @ned, taking more than 10% of it for their team.

That resulted in their team allocating lot of SP out of thin air. For doing basically nothing, rather than building a platform that will eventually migrate to LINO blockchain! Disgusting isn't it? But that is life. People are h*es :)

So, no matter how good quality you had, webcam included, professional mic, creativity good gaming skills etc that wasn't a guarantee for anything. On the other side, their team would get huge rewards every single day no matter how sh*t their stream was.

That's why I feel a bit betrayed now, the goal was to create something big out of this. Right here on Steem blockchain, and now it's gone.

What makes me even angrier, is the fact how they made 70 000 SP on their DLive account which is now getting powered down. Most of people from their team have more SP than most of loyal STEEM members, even though they have been here way shorter period.

The funniest part is DLive founder @wa7 is best friend with creator of Lino blockchain, so this wasn't something that came out of nowhere. This was well played for all this months and thoroughly planned. What enrages me even more is the fact how they were manipulating their voting : for example when DTube creator @heimindanger made an honest critic towards them, their team leader @redjepi instructed his team to never (ever) reward anyone who supported that comment.

You can check that here on his post : https://steemit.com/steem/@heimindanger/how-do-you-like-dlive-now

If you are interested in the close relationship between DLive & LINO, one you weren't told about by @wa7, check this post here: https://steemit.com/dlive/@meno/an-objective-look-at-dlive-s-exit

I feel like this was really a d*ckhead move, but what can you do! Sh*t happens & that's life, honestly, we should all learn from this along with @ned & he should put in way more thought when it comes to delegating SP in the future, to some new potentially great project that will make us forget DLive. :)

DLive was centralized since the very beginning, you could have seen it the other day when Steemit couldn't be reached & DLive was constantly online

They were and still are running a GraphQL database to serve all their content. They never used blockchain for anything rather than monetizing streamers & their team, but if you look closely, @ned actually did it :)

Hate to break it to you, but you have been lied to!

You haven't told me anything that I didn't know before. > Hate to break it to you, but you have been lied to! Are you for real? Did you even read my comment?
