If you mean having all the cores of the SOC(system on chip) on the smartphone working and using up all the RAM by playing multiple games and having different applications open, maybe even run an antutu test in the background, then no I definitely don't use my smartphone to its fullest potential and that's because as powerful as these smartphones are these days with 6-10GB of ram and the Snapdragon 845 or Kirin 970 or the A12 bionic chip, they aren't actually meant to be used at full power at all times.<\/p><p>If you mean extensive everyday use like opening multiple resource demanding apps like video editors and one or two games at the same time then I guess I use my smartphone to its fullest potential and then some.<\/p><p>I reckon I use up a significant portion of my phone's CPU everyday, but not everything. I'm either streaming a video, answering a question, playing a couple of games or just watching videos that I've saved on my phone. Believe me when I say I can comfortably do all this at the same time, in fact I've probably watched more than two videos on YouTube while answering this question.<\/p><p>I'd say that I take advantage of my phone's capabilities more than most people and I'm well aware of its limits and just how far I can push it. Oh and I use a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A by the way, it sports a Snapdragon 435 and 3GB of ram, and a HD PLUS IPS LCD display. The chip isn't the strongest but it does the job and since the screen is of low resolution, I don't need to play any game on the maximum graphics settings.<\/p><p>This actually brings my attention to the screen on alot of phones, most people don't even know their screen resolutions and they don't know that the higher the screen resolution, the closer you are to using your smartphones at their fullest potential. Granted you probably won't notice much of a difference between 540p and 720p, and 1080p and 2160p unless youve trained your eyes to spot the difference then you'll think you're looking at a normal screen.<\/p><p>By normal standards, I use my phone to its fullest potential, and I push that limit everyday, but as far as the initial situation I explained is concerned then I most certainly do not, I'm not even sure my phone could do all that without overheating and maybe even shutting down(another example of why you shouldn't use your phone to the fullest potential).<\/p><p>I hope this helps.<\/p>"}" |
