On my blog on Steemit for example I would have just a few posts a day to read from the people that I am following and comment on their posts but in here there are hundreds of questions daily and I sometimes feel like I became a \"professional typer\" if I may put it that way. When it comes to my blog posts it's almost the same situation. I had many posts on which I haven't got not even one comment and it was like I was creating content for myself and for a few upvotes. In here on the other hand I had just a few questions without an answer and a ton of them with multiple answers and with some very engaging. Not to say about upvotes. I rarely get over two or three dollars per post in upvotes while in here I had just a few days ago an upvote for an answer of about $5 so <strong>a big thank you <\/strong>for organically supporting users like me and helping us grow our accounts. What's also great about musing is the fact that it doesn't matter that much your reputation score as it is not shown on the platform so it feels like we are all equal in here while on Steemit I had many times the feeling that I was <strong>too little <\/strong>for my opinion to count and that the most read ones are the big boys. There is a bit of a problem though with spam in here but I think that in time this will be cleaned also. That's what happens when you have rewards involved in the game. I do like though that more and more users get to know about the platform, join it, ask intriguing questions and give great answers and that I find myself spending more and more time around here. I am actually about 70% of my Steem dedicated time present on musing and the rest on Steemit. Bottom line there's a lot of factors that make musing great: engagement, rewards, ease of use and equality for all of its users. The challenge is to find the communities and DApps where your knowledge and talents can best add value and contribute. Based on my experience, here are some of the communities and DApps that users can explore.<\/p>\n<p>I'll start with the DApps first.<\/p>\n<p>Musing.io. Users who have a knack for asking insightful and intelligent questions, and answering questions in the same insightful and intelligent manner have a chance to get rewarded for their contributions here. As you can see from the main page, Musing.io is generous when it comes to upvoting the posts that add value to the site. <\/p>\n<p>There are few things to note here. One, Musing.io does not reward all contributions. They only reward quality contributions based on their curation guidelines. So, if users are just thinking about a gaining a few upvotes with spammy or even plagiarized content, know that these bad behaviors will not be rewarded. In fact, you might even end up penalized by the site's manual curators. <\/p>\n<p>And two, like elsewhere in the blockchain, the upvotes are not mandatory. There are several language-based communities in the Steemit platform that band together to support its members. Personally, I'm not a part one, but for those who want to get in touch with local Steemians, these communities usually provide a lot of help, support, and camaraderie for their members.<\/p>\n<p>Utopian-io. This a community for professionals and developers involved in Open Source Projects. They reward users for their contributions to Open Source projects. These contributions can be in the form of suggestions, tutorials, graphics, bug hunting, development, documentation, translations, and others. Contributors can publish their content to their blog and, depending on the quality, will receive an upvote from @utopian-io. Open Source Project Owners can also seek contributions for their projects from within the community. An \"incentivized Quora\" indeed. It rewards users from their answers and questions to the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Steemhunt upvotes users who dig products on the internet. It also rewards users who consistently engage in the platform itself by their comments. <\/p>\n<p>Busy and Esteem are rewarding users that are using their app\/site. I also earned 42k+ HUNT Tokens which is just mind blowing. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Busy.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This dApp is also great in its own version. By using busy.org, we can choose percentage value while upvoting an content when you have only 300 SP. This feature is attracting me the most. It also gives you little vote if you post any content using this platform. The Notification feature is also great which is not present in official website STEEMIT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>eSteemApp<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I love this dApp too because I have got many votes from this app using surfer. I made plenty of posts using eSteem Surfer and got upvotes. The UI of this app is queit reasonable to use. It has many other great features which are not listed on STEEMIT. So it is worth to use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Musing.io<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I just came to know this amazing dApp three days ago and this one is my very first comment using this amazing platform. I'm loving it because all things are ORIGINAL here. I have never seen so many lengthy comments on STEEMIT but this platform got a huge ORIGINAL talent who are making Questions and Answers so amazingly lengthy. I'd love using this app till its presence over here. But what I can say is that one should remain in the lookout for new apps that are not very well-known, yet. A new app is more likely to have fewer people using it which allows the first batch of people to be early adopters and earn relatively well. This is especially true after the introduction of SMTs in March 2019 when a lot of apps will have an token of their own. <\/p>\n<p>But the most important criterion for any individual user is to find an app that best allows them to use their unique talents. This is the talent economy where people get paid for what they do best. I'm doing fine on Musing because I enjoy answering questions and I'm good at it. But you, my reader, might be at your best at something very different altogether. <\/p>\n<p>So, to recap.
