The bible has said faith without works is dead. If your actions cannot prove the words of your professed faith, then your faith is dead and worthless. The lesson also explained that our faith is tested everyday and it is only when we are tested and tried continuously and we demonstrate obedience that we shall be blessed.<\/p><p>We had the example of Abraham, the father of faith who obeyed God by faith and left his people and land to a land he knew not. This was a test of his faith and he passed the test. Even when God asked him to kill his only Son, his faith was tested again and he passed the test. And because he demonstrated true faith, God multiplied his seed and blessed him abundantly.<\/p><p>From today's lesson, I have come to understand that as Christians, as long as we continue to live in this world, our faith will be constantly tested. Our faith will be tested and tried and we are expected to demonstrate genuine faith and actions that back up our faith. God has given us the grace to triump every time and to pass the test. All we need to do is stand strong and withstand the test of our faith knowing that after we have been tested and tried, we will receive great rewards.<\/p><p>This message reallybcame as a great motivation and consolation to me and especially one of our brethren whose taxi was burned down by revolters. It was a source of livelihood for him and he took the message with boldness. Knowing this is just a test foe him, he is ready to remain faithful to the end no matter what happens.
