json_metadata"{"appParentPermlink":"p3mfen7kq","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","appTags":["religion"],"appDepth":2,"appBody":"<p>Yes I think religion is an essential part of human life and existence, some many sacred moral values that the society frowns at or accept was as a result of the morality that religion brings with it, it gives people purposes and believe, when you look at how many centuries ago you will find out that religion shaped the way people lived, for example take a look at the Danes in times like the 877 BC actually believed in religions and gods and it's guided the way they fight, go to war or even relate with other nations look at the british so many centuries ago, they practice christianity so diligently and it actually affected the way they chose their kings they felt that by choosing a certain kind of king they are doing God's will and even when they were fought buy other kingdoms they still maintain their stances as christians and never went to war because they believed war was violent and was considered as a sin by God.<\/p><p>So in my opinion religion is actually necessary and very important for the present day society like I mentioned earlier so many rules and principles that we do not even know the origin were sacred moral belief that were laid down why some religions in the past for example christianity kicks against same-sex marriage and that we know in the current society which we live same-sex marriage is still frowned upon by some countries so I must say some moral principles which are not even in the constitution but I accepted by humanity was actually laid down by some religion.<\/p><p>Religion actually curtail the excesses of some people some people actually hold their priest or their religious leaders to high esteem so they actually follow the life of spiritual orderliness being laid down by this exemplary leaders like for example in old Rome the words of the bishop and the Popes were even more valuable than the words of their rulers are lords the belief that once the pope or the bishop has spoken it was exactly from heaven and they have no choice but to obey so sometimes religion preserves people and give them something new to believe in not forgetting that religion actually shows people a way to God , a supernatural all powerful being that people believes in in time of trouble, and the fact that people believe that living right will actually guarantee eternal life, makes religion very instrumental to man's lifestyle and way of life<\/p>","appCategory":"religion","app":"musing\/1.1","appParentAuthor":"walecooker","musingPostType":"answer","appTitle":"Is religion actually neccessary in our society?","musingAppVersion":"1.1"}"
