Religion at best is illogical and a bunch of BS made up by those who wanted to seem learned at a time when very little importance was given to science and very little understood about the world by humans. I think religion should have been thrown out as soon as science became a more accepted thing in society. Even though we still have a long way to go in terms of understanding the human mind, evolution, the universe etc., religion does not provide an answer to anything. <\/p>\n<p>Even if a child has to be given religious education, he should be informed about all religions, so that they can take an informed decision as an adult as to whether they want to be religious or not. In fact by being made aware of different religions a child may grow up to be more informed, and more tolerant. Also religious education should be given in the form that x y z is what a religion says and not in the form, xyz as stated by our religion is the ultimate truth. <\/p>","appTitle":"Is religious education important for your child?","appTags":["life"],"musingPostType":"answer","appParentPermlink":"pkng5xxaw","app":"musing\/1.1","appParentAuthor":"owner99","appCategory":"life"}" |
