It leads to our mentality become more harder and we can take more pain and are more tolerant as compared to others who have led very comfortable life.

One of the things I do to achieve this hard mentality is that, I would usually go jog and train at the the gym. When you workout very intensely, you would feel extreme pain at some moments of time and it leads to growth. This is not only the growth of the mind but growth of the body.

I have also tried earning less than what I used to earn. When I did that the first thing I felt was that I lost the ability to spend those cash that other wise would have been borrowed to me using credit. When my salary dropped, the first thing that really scared me was to doubt my ability to earn more cash. This led to sleepless nights and insomnia. I guess it's like this mental scar that breaks and a barrier in the mind that suffering leads to. It enlightens us.

Imagine suffering and living like a caveman for a week or a month. Once we get out of that, we would appreciate just even the basic necessities in our life. Suffering makes us think of others who are suffering. It leads to a type of pain that only those who have strong mentality could be able to tolerate.

" |
