What would you do first?","appBody":"<p>Wow, 1million dollars, honestly the first thing I'd do is stop at the nearest fast food joint and eat the biggest burger they have there, I mean you've got to have enough food in your belly before you can think of what to do with all that money.<\/p><p>Like a typical Christian, I'd probably head over to church and pay my tithes, gotta pay respects to the big man upstairs. But after that, the first serious thing I'd do with the money would be to invest it in something.<\/p><p>I'd probably buy a house first, I mean that's a reasonable investment and it saves me from ever having to pay rent again. Does it have a serious effect on their attitude at an early stage?","appBody":"<p>Well I once read somewhere that children follow what you do alot less than what you say so I believe that a child's overall behaviour is determined alot more by how the parents behave and a lot less by what they say.<\/p><p>Let me use myself for instance, my dad always told us to brush our teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night, and at first we obeyed, but then I noticed that I never once saw him brush his teeth at night and because of that I slowly stopped doing it as well.<\/p><p>There are alot of behaviours that my dad had which I've unknowingly imbibed and alot of things which he'd say to us that would enter from one ear and leave through the other. All I'm trying to say is that parental behaviour is possibly the most crucial aspect of child raising because long before children can even make sense of good or bad, they're going to try and mimic everything their parents do.<\/p><p>I hope this helps.<\/p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3c536ahq","appParentAuthor":"divine-sound","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

In a communist society that wouldn't happen. <\/p><p>If just because I'm a single male who lives alone, I have to receive less than what a man with a wife receives regardless of where I work, or how hard I work or how important my work is then there would be no need to ever put in that extra effort. Yes it would probably bring the rich and the poor to the same level but it wouldn't eliminate poverty, it would only make us all poor together.<\/p><p>Communism doesn't work, it doesn't work at all, and I hope I never end up in a communist society.
