Islam is the more prominent religion in my country. I am not a muslim however. In Brunei, which is a very strict Islamic country. There is no alcohol that is sold there. There are no pubs or even Bristos.

The muslim there isn't allowed to drink at all. The other races as long as they are not muslims are allowed to drink alcoholic drinks. In my country of Malaysia, there are pubs and bristos and alcoholic drinks can be sold everywhere. Muslims however wont drink it. They understand that their religion requires them to be strict on this policy as it would cause many social problems when there are drunks. Many accidents occur due to the consumption of alcohol and there are many who drink too much and they have health issues with their body.

In my teaching it does educate us about alcohol but doesn't forbid it but discourage drinking. I myself doesn't like the taste of alcohol. I used to drink for social context. Nowadays, I don't drink anymore. This is due to health concerns.

I guess drinking in moderation is alright, as long as the person doesn't drink too much and have health problems.

Does your religion forbid anyone from drinking alcohol?
life","
"

My religion only forbids the intake of much alcohol as it will lead to intoxication. To we Christians, alcohol is not a sin but when you take it to much.
