I can't stop helping people even when I know the person doesn't necessarily need the help or even will appreciate it. I've been wronged so many times simply because I wanted to help.<\/p><p>There were times when I helped people even to the detriment of myself. It was devastating but still didn't get me to stop. In this case,helping people would be my weakness.<\/p><p>Lots of people have criticized my refusal to decline helping people but what can I do? It's part of my make-up.<\/p><p>Just this morning, a friend of mine called that help needs money. I had to send him the little that was left in my account. json_metadata"{"appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkwzgl4l5","app":"Musing","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","appParentAuthor":"thomasd4v","appBody":"<p>This is seeing the best in people in all situation; I was raised in a family where I was taught by my father that every demon we see were once angels, every criminal was once someone dear child and people that are now evil use to have a very soft tender heart.<\/p><p>As a result of this lessons which my father taught me, I usually see the best in people even when it seems obvious that there was nothing like the best in them I had a friend who had a tendency of grediness and coveteousness and he was always cheating me when we do business together, I use to rely myself that he was always cheating me because he needed the money that was why he was always cheating me.<\/p><p>Inside of me I felt that he's definitely a good person and that it was his predicaments that made him the way he was, people were complaining that he was a bad person and as a result of this, they stayed away from him, I didn't do this instead I convinced myself that he was a good guy and any wrong doing he committed was because he had no choice and had to go on with it.<\/p><p>In a particular case I was given a job by my boss and be went ahead of me to do the job and collected all the money never leaving any money for me and at the end I was sacked by my boss for doing a job that he terribly did and I was staying at home being broke with my a lot of responsibilities to cater for.<\/p><p>I got another job and still remained friends with this person and he kept duping me ofy money and showing a lifestyles that's anti social, derogatory, inhuman and unjustifiable but I still remained friends with him.<\/p><p>It's definitely a mistake I keep repeating and I definitely hope it won't harm me in a mortal Way, even till now I still believe people have the potential of having a good heart even when they're ghetto opposite, I'm always of the opinion that punishing people who have gone wrong is bad, I believe giving them a second chance to do things differently is the best solutions and I use to and still believe people can still be human even in their state of inhumanity I know this sometimes can be a big mistake, but I keep making these same mistakes over and over again.<\/p>","musingPostType":"answer","musingAppVersion":"1.1","appTitle":"What's the mistake you make over and over again?","appCategory":"life","appTags":["life"]}"

Instead of focusing on what it was. Maybe we all do this, I don't know. But I have always found it hard to walk away. I always end up putting so much of my energy into trying to create something that was not possible. Imagining the future I wanted, instead of the future that we would have.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Holding onto too much and afraid to let go, afraid to see the reality. We can not change people, we must accept them for who they are and we must accept our relationships for what they are.
