For me, before watching a certain movie, there are factors I would like to consider. Here are the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The plot.<\/strong> The plot tells what me what the movie is about. It gives me the sense of what I am going to watch without telling me the twists or the good parts. Before watching a movie, I read what the movie is about and decide for myself if it is interesting enough. I don't have a specific movie genre that I like, as long as the story is good, I will definitely watch it. It does not matter if it is romance, horror, or comedy, if the story line is good, then I am sure it is worth the watch.<\/li>\n <li><strong>The actors.<\/strong> Sometimes, when my favorite actors have new upcoming movies, I would most likely watch that film. There are particular actors that I have observed when they are part of the movie, the movie is great. One example is Johnny Depp, he is very flexible when it comes to movie roles. He can be a pirate, a factory owner, or a man with scissor hands. Anything really! So when a movie comes that he is a part of it, one thing's for sure, I'll definitely watch it.<\/li>\n <li><strong>The rating and reviews.<\/strong> If I am not familiar with the actors that play a certain movie and I am not convinced by the plot, often, I look for reviews that won't involve spoilers of course. Ratings are also significant for me because it will give me an idea if the movie is worth the watch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ones listed above are some factors I consider before watching a movie. I prefer real stories that are  based on some fact.<\/p>\n<p>The story has to catch me and peak some interest. I would then consider who is acting in it and that would then make me decide whether I watch it or not. An actor who is too weak or unbelievable to play the part would wreck the film.<\/p>\n<p>There have been a few films that i have walked out on as the acting and story didn't match what was advertised. The first thing I see is the trailer. If I feel that the trailer is good, then I will go and read the wiki pedia page and check out the budget. Usually I prefer those high budget movies which the directors spent a lot of effort and studios spend up to a hundred million to produce such a big hit.<\/p><p>The next thing I would do is to read the reviews on 1mdb. If the reviews are good, then I would go watch. In my region, movies that have been at the cinema for a week would have its ticket price slashed. It would the price of two for one. Then i go to watch it. I am not those hardcore fans who go and watch on its premier and won't mind missing any movies that I could watch later on Netflix. But I spend alot on movie merchandise. Usually if there is a collectible, there is a high probability that I would collect it. I have a whole bunch of merchandise.
