LOVE this piece @scrawly. Just recently 'The bird' has come to show me something about the Christmas Spirit. And here it comes to show us in the colours of Christmas, that the person we present to the world is only one aspect of the whole being that we spend our entire lives getting to know and understand. 

Love how you have represented the bright side and the duality of our nature. The spirals and the waves ~ Life in continuous motion ~ In the shadow side of our being. 

I hope these last few days of 2018 are filled with happiness for you and that 2019 is filled with ever-expanding creativity and all the opportunities you could wish for, to express and share it. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

You said it best, Ally. I wish I have the gift of words, but I find it easier to communicate through art, so whenever someone else who has looked at my art described what I wanted to say, I am glad :D.

Sometimes I feel like I may be making presumptions and they may not always be right. But the more often I don't hold back from putting it out there, the stronger my 'seeing' seems to become. And I love to look at works and 'see' what there is to 'see.' But as I've often said I've never felt that I have a particular gift for writing ~ I'm more trying to develop the gift of listening to my 'creative muse' and see what she comes up with. 😊

I also like it that art says different things to different people and often as we are working on something we may not even be fully aware of exactly what we are saying through our work. We may see aspects of it ~ But not necessarily the 'all' of it.

For me, this also indicates that something else is working within us, that wants to surface in our work. And if it wants to surface ~ Then it could just be for us to see but then I like to think that it also wants others to see it as well. Sharing our work becomes so much more important in this light. 

I feel so grateful for all that I've gained by being here at Steemit. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
