The number of people trying to scam this contest has shot up dramatically over the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, most of them are entering acapella and karaoke type entries. There are only so many hours in a day and I spend almost every waking hour listening to Open Mic entries and can only continue if I stop responding to those who scam so I can focus on the musical entries. That said you can always give it a shot because there are exceptions and as @limabeing pointed out so well in her comments to this post, vocalists are musicians too.
