Yeah or typically people post a picture of themselves with some paper with steemit username and date on it or something like that. It prevents them getting marked by steemcleaners etc in the future (unless they're terrible plagiarists)

Thanks again @mobbs - what you are suggesting can be easily done. My concern though is that if let's say I do that on one post, then it will get buried after some time and it will still not be seen. At the same time I don't think it's practical or suitable to post the verification pic with each and every article I post :s
