Flying Pins

The Flying Pins is a large public artwork in Eindhoven. It was designed by the sculptors Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen and unveiled in 2000.

die vervreemdende werking: het idee van hoe kunnen die kegels gewoon in de lucht zweven.....

Echt een geweldig kunstwerk vind ik, heb alleen nooit begrepen of er ook een link is met Eindhoven?

Is Eindhoven misschien een belangrijke stad op het gebied van bowling of "kegelen"?
