Behind and beside me there have been a few tourists, which wanted to be on my spot to take photos too - the atmosphere was a bit hectic, but after I let them take their photos I have been alone and the scene has suddenly become calm and cool, just as you say. So, I enjoyed taking some photos and left the place right before the next tourists came along.
The Soca river is such a beautiful river and in the Summertime many tourists are bathing there. The water is quite cool, but refreshing.
