They are even more distinct here on the 60th latitude than in the 50s where you live. Maybe too distinct. I'm going to have to purchase new snow guards to be installed on the roof of our carport because they came crashing down because of the weight of the snow last spring. Luckily, nobody was anywhere near at the time.

Yeah, don't know if I need *that* kind of 'distinction', especially if you have some physical limitations like me snow is pretty much the cause of total isolation as it's impossible/harder to leave the house. Sometimes I want to move to a country were the winters are above 12 degrees Celsius as pain levels rise exponentially when it gets colder than that :-) Good luck on the snow guards :-/
