A couple final pics from inside the B-17. First, some anonymous kid marveling at the 50 cal. machine gun in the right waist gunner position.

And last, the bombardier position in the chin turret at the front of the plane (with more machine guns on either side). Lots and lots of machine guns, heavy armor and a big payload of bombs. Can't imagine why these were called "Flying Fortresses"! :-)
