I don't doubt there was an agreement to not target Russian assets and Assad and refrain from protecting Syrian military assets with the Russian air defense shield. I guessed as much without Mark Slaboda's contacts. What interests me is the strategic consequence and the Russian and US rationales, about which Dima and Mark disagree. I await their next discussion. In the meantime it's something to consider.
