Vimeo video compression quality is far superior to youtube. As a filmmaker I work hard to insure quality in my shoots, therefore I want to present them in the best possible manner online. It is only logical that steemit would support this considering they are so highly supportive of the arts. As it is now I am forced to utilize these work-around solutions which forces viewers to leave the site to view the work. I would love for them to develop a solution for us steemers who care about quality content!
