this is the thing I have a platform where I mentor newbies everyday, they get discouraged because of low payout. My upvote personally is just cents which can't do much.
I am a curie curator so I do know what quality post should look like even if it is not highly exceptional.
Having 300k sp makes you a whale.
Account management is important. to manage the VP of the account so as to spread upvote on valuable contents of minnows all around steemit.
You will be amazed how many valuable posts and authors are on steemit with extremely low payout.
that said with 300k sp... I won't flag but I will comfortably report some so called whales who copy contents online and past on steemit with payout of 100 plus **WTF**
I saw a whale put up a lyrics of an artist then earned over 100sbd. yeah the lyrics is poetic and all cause i also like it. I am into poetry and that aspect is one that doesn't get much upvote.
One of my many aims on steemit is to be a whale supporting the poetry writers. I can tell a good poet and ones tryna milk the situation.
I am yet to check your wallet but I assume you have 300k sp. I saw this post last night yet I waited to see how many response it will get before 24 hours.
over 180 replies. Whales get a lot of replies and spam messages on steemit. that can be difficult to manage if your are nor patient. I am not a whale but I get spammed a lot and also many messages from authors who wants their post to be curated by curie. So i am kinda used to that.
300k sp will help you earn a lot on curation rewards. meaning I can host contest on weekly basis to reward users and authors. My kind of contest is such that anyone can engage in and also bring quality to steemit.
also i will delegate some sp to some sub communities on steemit that are struggling.
I am from Nigeria and to be honest with you 1sbd can feed someone for a whole day in my country. 6 sbd is more than minimum wage.
a lot of people from 3rd world countries are struggling with finances. they need support as well.
having such a huge steem power...i will have a journal to keep records of new authors who i have upvoted before and authors that are persistent without much success.
I remember when i leased 1k sp... i upvoted a lot of under valued posts with 16 cents. i felt good and happy.
the missions make the undervalued quality post valuable.
