I get 93 Steem in 9 days (investing in Steemmonster)

First of all - This was a lucky strike. But I have been thinking of Splinterlandcard as a hedge vs Steem this summer and this case show that it can work.

**93 Steem in 9 days - one card buy/sell**

Nine days ago it was possible to buy a Golden Black Dragon for 86 USD. I think it was strange because the next card was selling for 99 USD. A BIG GAP.
I was thinking - Maybe I can buy it and just put in at the market for 98 USD.
I did it but nobody bought it. I was lowering the price to 96 USD and today it was sold.

Buy for 86USD and sell for 96 USD = earn 10 USD. That is about 33 Steem.
But at the same time the value of steem has decrease a lot.
I bought for 86USD when the value was 0,37 USD/steem.
I sold for 96USD when the vaue was 0,29 USD/steem

SO - Buy for 231 steem - sold for 324 steem.

Can Steemmonster be use as a hedge for valuedropping in Steem? Yes - But it is a risky way because you need someone who buy your cards..,

At the same time I see that it has to some people earning money for trading steemmonsters.

1. Find gap - buy and sell higher
2. Buy cards when you think Steem will go down. Sell when steem is lower.
3. Buy cards that are undervalued and sell in the end of a season (specially the better cards)

Is it possible to see trends? To make technical analysis of steemmonstercards? I think so - But I am not the right man. I just happy for 96 Steem this time. My other Golden Black Dragon will I keep to the future - maybe...

Great hit on the gold legend that is a great pick up.  Another thought, lease cards with the steem you just got for a month and turn all of that into DEC, as in a lot of it because with that much steem you could get either one or more virtually maxed out deck, or 4-5 decks with one maxed splinter and perhaps a very nice accumulation of dragon cards, playing the quest when your splinter comes up and just playing your capture rate down to 90% and then coming back later in like 11-12 hours when it reaches 100% again and just picking up DEC.  Your call but congrats again on the find.

Nice idea.
Rent cards - play in 90-100%power - get a lot of DEC. Just play daily quest when right colour is daily quest with the rent cards. Maybe - If I just have Some time to play. Or let someone else play and take all winning cards (I keep dec)

Great profit margin. Selling cards when STEEM is low is  a great way to make a lot of STEEM. And a good time to buy cards cheap is at the end of each season. Now the hard part is knowing when the market will turn.
