I think people who can still look at this at a logical perspective know that Bitcoin is the keystone of the cryptocurrency market, and if it trembles one day all the cryptocurrency market will shatter. 

I am a Bitcoin and altcoin investor myself and this is how I look at all this. The main hype behind the altcoins is making quick money. As Bitcoin seems to be saturated at the moment all the risk loving coin traders try to feed their appetite in these altcoin markets. With more people are chipping in everyday, prices inflate and there are more winners than losers at the moment. Which makes some emotional people believe in their own hallucinations. The logical investors are in altcoins just because to get more Bitcoins. 

As you know even Ripple which is a coin published by a company with a great idea is a big bubble. The company's idea and business model can make a lot of money, banks or corporations may decide to use Ripple's model, but will never use Ripple coin for sure. Because it is not necessity, they can choose to create another network. And so on.
