The Trump trial following an old playbook.
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUu23sP8JyMbqxX9KjBubniDg58TasWzPDwVSR54ygGXT/image.png)

If you ever wondered how the government took down Al Capone 100 years ago, history is repeating itself with the Donald Trump trial right now.

Yea, they didn't get him for the St. Valentine Day Massacre, or beating in a dude's head with a Louisville Slugger, no, they got him on a wide variety of stacked charges like illegal weapons possession and tax evasion.

It's essentially the same playbook being used at present against ex-President Trump.

"When we last tuned in, Benjamin Fulford had issued an ultimatum <http://www.savethemales.ca/002056.html to the Illuminati on behalf of an ancient Chinese Secret society, consisting of six million members, including thousands of assassins, gangsters and ninjas: "Desist with your plans for world depopulation or else you and your families will be assassinated."

"We will pluck out the eye at the top of the Illuminati pyramid," Fulford told us. "We have trained ninjas close to them all. They will be wiped out in a matter of hours.""

Misinformation from Sheila Jackson Lee.
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQme2RcHwbawx6PHDDszLzLK5imr7vKH5HCkny4i46wTDrY/image.png)

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/spaced-out-sheila-jackson-lee-tells-texas-students-planet-moon-made-up-gases

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, misinformed a group of high school students in Houston that the moon is a "planet" that is "made up mostly of gases."

Democratic Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, apparently determined to prove that Louis Gohmert is not the dumbest Texan to ever serve in Congress, told students that the moon provides energy and is mostly made of gases.

Her party, which would like you to believe it is the more scientifically literate party, once made her the chair of the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

And yet again, I ask you, are you really confused about why I don't trust government or support the Democrats?

Questioning economist commitments to markets?
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmNNBfVHbh5oTbgjwHF3cMGEY4TRcYHRfjqeNgUCoxxZds/image.png)

https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/fandd/issues/2024/03/Symposium-Rethinking-Economics-Angus-Deaton

Nobel Prize winning economist Angus Deaton begins to question economists' commitment to markets.

Most interesting to me is his encouragement for economists to have more humility, because he violates this very principle in encouraging more government determination of economic outcomes.

Just where is the humility, after all, in believing you can effectively use a highly complex tool whose operations you have determinedly avoided studying (government) to fix the world's most complicated machine (the economy)?

No fly list constitutionality?
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWuURAXqDbYL2bgEKd1wsvyy9DMvWCNyBiXXg24WNtF8s/image.png)

https://www.cair.com/press_releases/cair-calls-9-0-u-s-supreme-court-victory-in-watchlist-case-a-historic-milestone-for-american-muslims/

A good Supreme Court ruling against the government's attempts to avoid having to face a lawsuit over the constitutionality of the no-fly list.

The government has just attempted to moot every challenge to the list's constitutionality by removing every individual litigant from the list.

From the perspective of the national security state, people do not have fundamental rights, only privileges, and the Constitution is nothing more than a damned inconvenience.

Chipko Movement: A 50 years old struggle between the government and the people!
# Greetings friends!

<div class="text-justify">

Every form of government has one thing in common: the use of power by the ruling elite to govern the masses. Democracy, often touted as government by the people, is no exception; it operates as a disguised form of aristocracy, where the powerful exercise authority under the guise of popular representation.

The distinction between the common people and the elite was starkly became evident in India during the 1970s, particularly in the Himalayan region of the then Uttar Pradesh and now Uttarakhand state. The exclusion of local dwellers over forest resources got its authority from the colonial legacies. The Indian Forest Acts of 1878 and 1927 granted absolute control over natural resources to the government, while stripping forest-dependent communities of their rights.</div>

<center>![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbmpKh78e5FCKywkN44LhUawLJdsLDXNs6gTifNqSujZn/image.png)

(***This is the original picture of Gaura Devi and her allies. It became an iconic image of environment protection movements***)</center>

<div class="text-justify">

In 1973, the state government further exacerbated the situation by permitting private companies to exploit the region's forests, perpetuating environmental degradation and exacerbating the plight of the local inhabitants. In response, the community, led predominantly by women such as Gaura Devi, embraced the Gandhian principle of nonviolent resistance. They bravely stood in solidarity, embracing the trees marked for felling when the people of the company came.

Despite intimidation and coercion by state authorities and company personnel, the resolve of these courageous individuals remained unwavering. Their steadfast determination, amplified by the involvement of leaders like Sundarlal Bahuguna, galvanized a nationwide movement. Ultimately, the government was compelled to reconsider its policies, halting the indiscriminate logging and granting local communities a degree of control over forest resources.

This grassroots movement resonated across the country, ignited an upsurge of public outrage against the exploitation of natural resources. It served as a poignant reminder of the power of collective action in holding authorities accountable and effecting meaningful change in governance policies.

The term "Chipko" means to hug. It symbolizing the profound connection between people and their environment. However, this movement was neither the inaugural nor the concluding chapter in the struggle for environmental justice. As history has shown, such grassroots movements are bound to resurface time and again, as the government endeavors to suppress them in favor of entrenched elites.

Despite the movement's 50-year milestone, the anticipated transformative change remains elusive. This stagnation can be attributed to the systemic barriers that govern society. Regardless of the political ideology or governance model in place, the fundamental power dynamics persist. Whether under the guise of democracy or autocracy, the ruling class retains its dominance, shaping policies and laws to perpetuate the interests of the privileged ones.

This deep-rooted dynamic perpetuates a state of perpetual subjugation for the masses, inhibiting their aspirations for freedom and fulfillment. Despite efforts to establish liberal or welfare-oriented administrations, the structural constraints endure, reinforcing the hierarchical relationship between rulers and subjects.

Thus, the state emerges as the primary impediment to the pursuit of genuine freedom and self-determination. As long as the machinery of governance operates to safeguard the interests of the ruling elite, the aspirations of the people for autonomy and empowerment will continue to be thwarted. Nothing will change if we cannot identify the root of the problem.</div>

**Thank you!**

A new phone scam involves impersonators from government agencies who pressure people to use Bitcoin ATMs to "secure" their money.

This is a lie - there are no government Bitcoin accounts and Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed.

Don't be rushed into sending money and remember, if someone tells you to keep it a secret, it's a scam.

Beware of these Bitcoin ATM scams!!

https://notthebee.com/takes/if-america-were-still-a-moral-nation-that-honored-god-taking-control-of-haiti-would-be-our-imperative-since-we-are-not-we-must-look-to-others

I usually like Not The Bee, but this is awful.

Haiti is in terrible straits. It’s the worst societal collapse that we’ve seen on Earth for at least decades. Right up there with some of the worst outcomes of communist regimes like Pol Pot and the Kim family.

AND IT IS ALL THE FAULT OF THE US GOVERNMENT.

The U.S. government has never seen an intervention in Haiti it didn’t like. So much so that we HAVE SEEN THIS COLONIZATION BEFORE. Haiti was occupied militarily by the U.S. from 1915 to 1934. In the 1950s, one of the worst dictatorships in the world was propped up by the U.S. there because the dictator claimed to be “anti-communist.” This was replaced in 1991 by a “democratic leader” accused of human rights abuses, and military coups in 1991 and 2004, both of which had the U.S. intervening to prop up its favored regime. The U.S. literally invaded in 1994 to put the “democracy” back in charge, and is accused of backing the coup in 2004 that removed THAT SAME “DEMOCRATIC” LEADER.

The U.S. has further *run the elections* in Haiti, which have been rife with fraud despite that fact, and forked over millions of dollars in aid that lines the pockets of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats while doing nothing to help the people of Haiti.

Biden is currently refusing to send US troops to Haiti to prop up its failed government against the gangs. As terrible as the situation is in Haiti, this is the right call. More foreign intervention cannot solve the problem.

GOVERNMENTS
[Leadership style of Nehemiah 8]

"AND God has set certain in the assembly: first, APOSTLES; secondly, PROPHETS; thirdly, TEACHERS; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; GOVERNMENTS [administrators, governors, managers, those who are able to lead]; kinds of tongues."
1 Corinthians 12:28 (DARBY)

â€ĸ As the vision given you by God started, those who are assigned to work with you would begin to surface.
- As a good leader, you have the responsibility to identify the strength and weaknesses of those who are working with you.
- One of the attributes of a good leader is, the ability to know; discover or recognize, the potential or ability inherent—in each member of his or her team.
- If you cannot do this, you may find it difficult to assign the people to work in the area of their strength. You may not be able to fix the people in what they can do best. Thus, you ended up in having square pegs in round holes.

â€ĸ How To effectively deploy the people who are with you.
(i) Appoint them to work. Give them the opportunity to serve. And to give the people an opportunity to serve, you must consider certain things:
a. Whoever is being considered to serve must not be a novice, a new convert (1 Timothy 3:6).
b. Someone who is yet matured, one who has not been tested with little responsibilities, should not be considered for leadership position:
"BEFORE they are asked to be deacons, THEY SHOULD BE GIVEN OTHER JOBS IN THE CHURCH AS A TEST OF THEIR CHARACTER AND ABILITY, AND IF THEY DO WELL, then they may be CHOSEN as deacons" (1 Timothy 3:10 the Living Bible).
c. Whoever is appointed to a leadership position, is given authority. And if an authority is given to a novice, one who is yet matured, such could use the authority against the person who appointed him or her—thus, a time for growth should be allowed:
"A church leader must not be a new believer, BECAUSE HE MIGHT BECOME PROUD, And the devil would cause him to FALL" (1 Timothy 3:6 NLT).
d. Pride would make a novice, one who is not mature, want to wrest authority from his superior—Pastor. He may want to usurp or emasculate the person who appointed him or her.
THE devil could make him or her believe they are BETTER and know more than their superior—Pastor.
SUCH may want to believe they can perform BETTER and are qualified than their senior Pastor.
PRIDE could make someone who is not taught or broken by the Spirit of God, rebelled and resented the person who appointed him or her.
e. Endeavour to train whoever you wanted to put to work, before you did.
f. Whoever is being considered for the appointment must have proven to be faithful in other things, or areas, which such has been given responsibilities as a test:
"THE things [the doctrine, the precepts, the admonitions, the sum of my ministry] which you have heard me teach in the presence of many witnesses, ENTRUST [as a treasure] TO RELIABLE AND FAITHFUL MEN WHO WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE AND QUALIFIED TO TEACH OTHERS" (2 Timothy 2:2 AMP).

â€ĸ Nehemiah appointed Hanani as governor of Jerusalem because he found in him faithfulness and fear of God which are the qualities a good leader should possess:
"I GAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF GOVERNING JERUSALEM TO MY BROTHER HANANI, along with Hananiah, the commander of the fortress, FOR HE WAS A FAITHFUL MAN WHO FEARED GOD MORE THAN MOST" (Nehemiah 7:2 NLT).
- Fear of God must be found in any potential leader that would be appointed.
- Although the person being considered may not be perfect yet, fully mature, because everyone is growing to maturity, perfection; but the fear of God must be found in him or her.
- In Jethro's, Moses father-in-law's leadership counsel, which was given to Moses; the fear of God was one of the qualities a potential leader must possess before he could be considered for an appointment:
"MOREOVER you shall SELECT from all the people ABLE MEN, SUCH AS FEAR GOD, men of truth, hating covetousness; and PLACE SUCH OVER THEM TO BE RULERS of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens" (Exodus 18:21 NKJV).

â€ĸ Give them job descriptions
- Tell them what you wanted them to do, and let it be made clear.
- Let them know the details of whatever is expected of them to do:
"I [Nehemiah] said to them, [i] “Do not leave the gates open during the hottest part of the day. [ii] And even while the gatekeepers are on duty, have them shut and bar the doors. [iii] Appoint the residents of Jerusalem to act as guards, everyone on a regular watch. Some will serve at sentry posts and some in front of their own homes" (Nehemiah 7:3 NLT).
- The people can only run with the vision that is made plain to them:
"THEN the Lord said to me, “WRITE MY answer PLAINLY on tablets, so that A RUNNER CAN CARRY THE CORRECT MESSAGE TO OTHERS" (Habakkuk 2:2 NLT).

â€ĸ You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Whatever challenge you had on your health is ended today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Hold of sickness is completely broken in Jesus' name.
Peace!

Peace!

Freedom of Speech!?
Yes, the right to freedom of speech is a great achievement of the bourgeois-democratic revolution. Indeed, such a right contributes significantly to the political and economic development of the state. I understand this well due to my age, experience serving in the Soviet Army, and my status as a historian. I have lived from the era of the dictatorship of the proletariat to the era of “decaying capitalism” and understand the importance of freedom of speech. A Soviet Army officer, having subordinates, was obliged to explain to the personnel, including the officer corps, the external and internal policies of the state. Political classes were held with all personnel for two hours twice a week. For the officer corps, classes on Marxist-Leninist training were conducted according to a specific program. Thus, the army’s leadership was obliged to be well-versed in the politics of the party and government.

The information war against socialist Russia, against the USSR, began from the moment of their formation. And, in my opinion, we were losing from the very beginning. We did not have a picture of the true attitude of the peoples of these countries towards us, towards the world’s first state of workers and peasants. In 1941, I was 11 years old, and I was convinced that German soldiers, these workers dressed in military uniforms, would not fight against us based on the slogan: “Workers of all countries, unite.” It turned out they fought, and not only the German proletariat but the proletariat of all Western and Eastern Europe. And they fought fiercely. And we, based on the reports of our press, considered the proletariat of these countries our brothers.

The information war against the USSR, after the war, unfolded with new force. What we hear and see today, how neo-fascism is unfolding in European countries and no one condemns them, they insult the monuments to military leaders, fighters of the Red Army, and this is even encouraged by the leaders of European countries, there is no need to be surprised or outraged. The beginning of all this filth lies in the post-war years. We believed that we were liberating them from the fascist yoke. They, however, regretted that fascism failed to defeat the world’s first socialist state, and it turned out the other way around. For them, fascism is closer and more understandable than socialism. And here it’s not about socialism. European countries, without exception, hate Russia. They sought to establish relations with Russia as with any African country. Let’s analyze the history of relations between European countries and Russia. Only animosity, enmity, hatred. Take the year 1812. No Bolsheviks, no socialism. Russia saves Europe from the international bandit Napoleon. Russia deserves this victory at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives, at the cost of our cities and villages ravaged by Napoleon. And what? The fruits of this victory are appropriated by European countries, and for Russia, zero benefits. I think that Russia is also to blame for Europe’s condescending and contemptuous attitude towards us. We are too soft on them. At the end of the war, did we take contributions from those European countries whose troops were part of the armed forces of fascist Germany and killed our people, destroyed our cities and villages? No. We limited ourselves to Germany. And with that, we still provided all kinds of assistance. That’s why they sit on our heads. We should treat others as they treat us. And we are all polite and gentle, as now we all try to help Georgia, Ukraine, the Baltics. My firm opinion is that those who declare us enemies should be treated as enemies, and no one should be pitied. Only then will these dwarfs respect us.

All these countries that joined the so-called socialist camp, the "Warsaw Pact," in reality, all aspired to break away from our union. I remember very well that during the existence of the socialist camp, very serious crisis situations constantly arose in almost all the countries that were part of the socialist camp. But, since there was no freedom of speech in our country, we learned about all this from enemy voices that conducted combat operations on the fronts of the information war around the clock. And we constantly lost on this front because we did not have freedom of speech, democracy. Of course, one could understand the Soviet power. Freedom of speech would have destroyed Soviet power even earlier. Yes, life was bad under Soviet rule, and not only the power itself was to blame. We survived the revolution, the civil war, and had to transform from a backward agricultural country into a mighty industrial power capable of withstanding and defeating fascism, which was preparing to destroy us. And this had to be done in a very short historical period. All this required resources, and no one gave them to us. And all this we did at the expense of the inhumane exploitation of our people. There was no other way out. If it were up to me, I would erect a monument to the unknown peasant and the unknown worker of the thirties of the last century. It was their selfless labor that saved our country. And during World War II, all of Europe tried to inflict as much damage as possible on the Soviet Union. And we did not even take contributions from them. That's why we lived in poverty. And in the press, everything was fine. And this absence of freedom of speech played a cruel joke on us. Rumors, suspicion, distrust of the press, and from there, distrust of the government. I think that the absence of freedom of speech in the 60s of the last century created an entire stratum of intelligentsia that later seriously undermined the foundations of Soviet power and helped destroy the USSR. The Twentieth Congress of the CPSU and the ban on the publication of the Gulag in the USSR prepared the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In other words, both democracy and freedom of speech can save or destroy a state. It all depends on the goals set by both the proponents of freedom of speech and the adherents of democracy. For democracy also breeds dictators. Yeltsin, Putin, Medvedev were chosen by the most democratic means. And what's the use? What good have they done for the people? Yes, early Putin seemed to try to do something. He saved Russia from obvious collapse. But personally, I do not consider this a particular merit. The people chose you to save the country from all kinds of dangers. Saving the country is the duty, the obligation of the president. But why does the president allow that for 7 years now, the people become poorer every year? Why are there so many billionaires in our poor country? Explain to me why in a country where there are hundreds of millions of arable land, millions of hectares of forests, a huge number of rivers, lakes, seas, inexhaustible sources of minerals, there are 22 million poor people? Mr. President! Lately, you have been quite sarcastic about the Soviet period of our life. In the Soviet period, you received a free university education and prepared to become president. Then we did not have 22 million poor people. I would advise the president to better study the experience of state management by Soviet power. Why then was such massive robbery of the Russian people not allowed, and the government, the Supreme Soviet, did not consist of citizens of foreign subjects? Interestingly, they criticize the cult of personality and actively create a cult of personality. A disgusting TV program has been created: "Moscow Kremlin Putin." TV programs start with Putin and end with Putin, to show how healthy he is. So, should we keep him because he is healthy!? But we, the ordinary people, are quite tired of him. It’s time for Vovochka to leave. One must leave the ring before getting knocked out.

I wonder if they know our government gassed our own soldiers with mustard gas as an experiment, turned malarial mosquitoes loose on two Mississippi towns, set off a particularly radioactive atomic bomb and then tested the natives in the Marshall islands, gave pregnant women radioactive cookies to see the effects, transmitted syphilis to unsuspecting servicemen and prostitutes to study effects, and engaged in a multitude of human control experiments on prisoners, citizens and servicemen using drugs, sensory deprivation and torture. All this and more SINCE WW2. In my lifetime.

Have they listened to GHW Bush's NWO speech? Do they know what Habeus corpus is? Do they know what the Patriot act allows? Are they aware Obama killed American citizens with drones? Gave 150 billion dollars to Iran. Do they know Russia paid Hillary 150 million for our uranium. Are they aware Bill Clinton gave the port of Los Angeles to China? Have they ever heard of Haliburton? Or Seth Rich?

The answer to all of the above is NO. But they vote.

Should Tucker Carlson Have More Interviews Like The One With Putin?
The interview gained over 19 million views on YouTube alone and it covered many details about the history of Russia, Ukraine, NATO and Nazis. I was personally aware or most of the details before the interview happened. This was not the case with most of the population. __The best thing that came out of the interview with Putin was that a series of topics entered the normal conversation that was previously overlooked.__ Most people were unaware of the fact that Russia wanted to join NATO and it is NATO that rejected the good relations to continue to stick to its anti USSR cold war roots.

# Watch The Full Interview
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOCWBhuDdDo

There is a trend to take things out of context to push various narratives. The best antidote is to take a look at the full context before making up your mind about things. If you cannot take time to go through the details, it is generally good practice to not form a strong opinion and keep an open mind instead.

# Lex Fridman Interview Was Even Better
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_lRdkH_QoY

One thing Tucker Carlson is clearly out of touch with is Nazi presence in Ukraine. When Canada invites a SS veteran of Ukraine and honor him at the Canadian parliament, you cannot deny that Nazis have a significant influence in Ukrainian politics. [This is a mainstream media article](https://www.npr.org/2023/09/27/1201951754/canadas-house-speaker-steps-down-after-inviting-nazi-veteran-parliament) and there are thousands like this. Even Wikipedia which is an extremely biased source covers the Neo Nazi connection of[Azov Brigade](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Brigade) at length.

California Entrepreneur Who Was Fined $1000 for Drawing Informal Maps without a License Takes Regulatory Board to Court

</blockquote>

<p>Source: <a href="https://megalextoria.blogspot.com/2022/12/california-entrepreneur-who-was-fined.html">California Entrepreneur Who Was Fined $1000 for Drawing Informal Maps without a License Takes Regulatory Board to Court - Foundation for Economic Education</a></p>

So to make a long story short, some regulatory board in California fined a man $1000 for making informal maps, accusing him of "land surveying". These maps were used by his customers for various reasons (for example, hotels would hand them out to guests to show room locations) but were NOT used or advertised for the purposes that more formal, official maps are required by law for such as surveys.

Why would you need a license for this? Well, you obviously shouldn't. Anarchists and voluntaryists of course would argue you shouldn't need a license in any case but even for those that support regulation there is really zero rational reason here. No possible harm can come from drawing a map and nobody is being protected here, in fact, quite the opposite.

So then what IS their motive here? There really can't be any other reason that to eliminate competition. This is nothing less than government sanctioned mafia. I can only imagine how bad things would get if you simply refused to pay the fine. It should come as no surprise that to get a license is a lengthy and expensive process. Reducing competition will of course result in higher prices. Imagine how much more a hotel would have to pay for guest maps if you had to get them from a licensed land surveyor.

This man did the (hopefully) smart thing and instead of just rolling over, he filed a lawsuit in Federal court against the board for violation of free speech. It's hard to see how he could lose but then I assume this will first be going to a district court in California. I doubt they are very rational either so it will be interesting to see how far this progresses.

The case was filed at the end of September and is currently pending. A preliminary injunction was filed in October. For court documents and more information on the case, see https://ij.org/case/california-mapping/

Canada's RCMP spreading doom porn conspiracy theories
<h4>Canada's state media says the Royal Canadian Mounted Police believes we are headed for dark and scary times ahead. After years of denying the warnings of people like me, who saw all this coming but were called "whacky conspiracy theorists", the <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-police-future-trends-1.7138046">frightening CBC announcement</a> reveals our national police force is convinced life as we know it will be over within 3 years. The article heavily pushes the climate change agenda, and admits that the standard of living in Canada is on the decline for the first time in history. It can be summed up with "things are going to get REALLY bad, and we're not prepared".</h4>

<center>![image.png](https://img.blurt.world/blurtimage/drutter/5138d2de75e6ae089a9dcd6288231eab7f0c3a59.png)</center>

Yes, that's the actual image used in the bleak propaganda piece... a middle-class family home surrounded by fire and brimstone. Nothing subliminal there, or anything! (The photograph is of a forest fire here in BC last Summer.)

<h3>Title: Canada faces a series of crises that will test it in the coming years</h3>

Quotes:

"The crises rocking national and international affairs are likely to get worse over the next few years, and could have a significant effect on the ability of the federal government and police force to protect Canadians."

Crises that will by 2027 send shockwaves throughout the world:

- pandemics like COVID-19
- supply-chain breakdown
- widespread war
- artificial intelligence
- quantum computing
- blockchain
- geopolitical challenges
- climate change
- global recession

"The geopolitical, economic, social, technological and environmental shifts are complex and continue to evolve. They can disrupt or redefine law enforcement in unexpected ways and cause multi-faceted disruptive change."

"By 2027, increasingly violent storms, worsening drought, floods and persistent heat waves all over the globe will reduce the global output of a variety of commodities. Law enforcement should anticipate that these destructive weather patterns will affect all facets of government. Emergency management planning should be considered."

"The coming period of recession will also accelerate the decline in living standards that the younger generations have already witnessed. Many Canadians under 35 are unlikely ever to be able to buy a place to live."

"Populists have been capitalizing on a rise in political polarization and paranoid conspiracy theories, tailoring their messages to appeal to extremist movements. We should expect continuing social and political polarization fueled by misinformation campaigns and increasing mistrust."

"Criminals will leverage technology to gain profit and influence. Law enforcement should contribute to policy change related to the privacy of personal information, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, quantum computing, and digital ledger technology."

"The COVID-19 pandemic's damage to the economy and social fabric of the nation is ongoing, and there is an established opposition to existing and potential public health measures and other restrictions. There is a good chance of another pandemic spreading in the near future."

---

Read the whole thing <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/rcmp-police-future-trends-1.7138046">here</a>.

It concludes with some expert saying "the only thing I think they underestimate is the urgency with which we must prepare".

Another expert finishes the article recognizing the "disconnect between the strategic threat assessment and the resources, capacities, and political will to posture Canada effectively for what is clearly going to be a very difficult future." In other words, we are nowhere near frightened enough by what is surely coming. (And they call <i>us</i> paranoid?)

I labeled myself a proud conspiracy theorist 14 years ago on YouTube, and miraculously, it is one of my videos that has not (yet) been deleted:

<center>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhGWY5UiJa4</center>

Now our own government and mainstream media is getting into the "doom porn conspiracy theories" with this dire report of coming turmoil in Canada and around the world.

<h3>Other than the climate change garbage, this is the kind of thing I've been warning about - and being heavily censored for - for 15 years! I was called crazy by strangers and family alike, and cancelled across all major platforms, for seeing this coming. Now it is being officially announced.</h3>

Financial fragility is just government deficit spending!
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTA5k5kgHsv3nvLFNxR75EtjonbeZoVDjTKmfXty78ANd/image.png)

https://www.aier.org/article/another-year-another-crisis

*"Until the root issues of financial fragility are confronted and resolved..."*

There are no root issues of financial fragility beyond those caused by the Federal Reserve monetizing the government's deficit spending which caused the inflation. That inflation will continue until the real value of wealth--most notably the bonds held by the jeopardized banking system--is reduced enough to release the resources required to pay for the government's consumption.

This is why the current government is in political jeopardy, why the next one will be also if they do nothing different. The FR can solve this problem by not accommodating the government's deficit spending. For then the government would be restrained by the willingness of bond investors to hold its debt.

Is Thailand embracing cryptocurrency? Latest move suggests they are at least for now
Thailand is a tough little country to figure out sometimes but just like any other country they are eager to attempt to lure in investors to the Kingdom. They have been a bit strange about cryptocurrency here in the past even just since I have been here. Initially when cypto and most notably BTC burst into the public conversation the Thai government was willing to accommodate it fully and even allowed BTC point of sale systems to be legally put in place. Very few people understood how any of this works to actually implement it but the businesses that did were able to lure in mostly tourists that were interested in spending money this way. A few exchanges popped up in Thailand as well where it made it easy for people to deposit money into these exchanges directly from their Thai fiat banks.

Then a few years later the regulations started to pile on, as things tend to with governments, and all of these small Thailand-based exchanges abruptly shut down. In March of 2022 the Thai government banned all crypto being used as a method of purchasing goods or services of any sort and just like everywhere else in the world where the media is used to lie to the public, the officials claimed that this move was done in order to protect the customers from "hacking" and losing their funds.

While it remained unclear (as things tend) as to whether a person was allowed to get involved in crypto at all in Thailand even as an investment, the people who were going to do this didn't need the permission from the government to make it happen. Just like anywhere else in the world except for maybe China, there are many on and off-roads for crypto in Thailand. It was just disappointing that the country didn't embrace it simply because they don't understand it.

<center>
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaydqZNN7LhwNJR2EWZqFhrrZXYqmgzVhd2xppEtnXPik/image.png)
[src](https://www.pymnts.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Thailand-cryptocurrency.jpg)</center>

Well the news broke this week that Thailand announced that not only will the Kingdom allow investing in the country via crypto assets, but they are going to "embrace it." The translation of the press release was that they were "seeking to stimulate the economy via investment tokens" and while that doesn't mean a great deal it appears as though they are going to be perfectly find with people putting money into the country that was obtained via crypto earnings. They plan to implement a 15% tax on these earnings and this will introduce a whole different world of problems since much of the time people who have made money off of crypto investments don't actually want to disclose their earnings. I know that I don't personally know anyone that is interested in that. I suppose they could exist and someone with huge amounts of it... one of those "Bitcoin millionaires" that we hear about, would be ok with a 15% drop if it meant they could then legally spend it on major purchases in the country.

Also, [this annoucement](https://thethaiger.com/news/business/thai-government-approves-tax-benefits-for-investment-tokens) appears to green-light personal investment in exchanges and is encouraging people to report their earnings and even turn it back into fiat if they wish, but again it will be at a 15% rate.

Is this unreasonably high? Well, I think so but it kind of depends on the situation and the volume. If someone were "cashing out" millions of dollars worth of the stuff they would certainly be better off doing it here than say, in the United States where the government would likely put you in jail just for having it and if not, they would confiscate around half of it in taxation. So this could encourage some higher-level individuals to actually bring their money here if they are interested in cashing out.

This doesn't apply to most people of course, but it is nice to see the government kind of embrace the fact that crypto is here to stay and criminalizing it and fighting it is a lost cause. However, if people do their research they will likely notice that Thailand frequently changes their minds on things and as far as crypto is concerned they have already "changed their minds" several times. Just like anywhere else in the world, the Thai Banking system in a very powerful group that doesn't like competition so at the drop of a hat this legislation could all change. This is what they are currently doing with the novel decision to legalize recreational use of marijuana after a mere 18 months or so.

Regardless of how this is taken by serious investors around the world it is nice to see countries capitulating and admitting that "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
