This is a cross-posted copy of my equivalent post on HIVE for the information of those SPI members remaining focused on the STEEM chain. I have seen from a couple of SPI holders an interest in selling their tokens using the 95% buyback offer. At the present time, Spinvest is powering down STEEM with the goal of acquiring as much off-chain investments as possible. Having to dedicate much of this power-down to buybacks will reduce the opportunities in this area significantly. So, I am looking at putting together a private alternative to the official 95% buyback. # How would it work? * People interested in buying more SPI tokens with their STEEM power-downs contact me privately via discord. jk6276#1893 * Agreements between buyers are put in place and our STEEM is pooled in one account. * Buy orders are placed on Steem-Engine at 95% of the current official SPI valuation. * Anyone wishing to sell out of SPI will be able to sell into this bid - first come first served. * Price would be adjusted whenever @spinvest updates its "true-value" of SPI tokens (as a minimum weekly, more frequently if possible). * Once a week, SPI acquired will be distributed proportionally amongst participants. * Each week, buyers would be free to join if they wish, or otherwise. * Expected duration 13 weeks maybe less if there isn't many sellers. * All transactions in this arrangement would be conducted in STEEM/STEEMP. * This is not a trustless proposal - you would be entrusting your STEEM to me for this, anyone uncomfortable with that should not participate. # Why? * I personally want to put all my liquid STEEM into more SPI tokens. * Running this privately would free up @silverstackeruk from organising buyback requests so he can concentrate on other things for @spinvest. * Those wishing to sell out of SPI will have a straightforward way to do so. * Those wanting more SPI can use STEEM power-downs to buy at a small discount. ##### Most Importantly * @spinvest will be able to use its STEEM to buy off-chain investments rather than buying back SPI tokens with it. Payouts were sent earlier today. Just a reminder that the rate changed for this week to 1 per 1200 delegation of LEO. Again LEO price slipped a bit this week, and again we just made a small profit. I need to have some conversations with Mr - Spinny and a couple others about a way forward. Also, the Fork throws a spanner in our works - with a likelyhood of delays for Steem Engine migrating, or running services on both chains and also what tribe founders want. <center> https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbbrCKw7jnFC916Mmr5Qmpy52JLhr5WFFvqaY5NqfgGbE/SPLeo.png </center> ## So Much uncertainty. So, I think that temporarily, and given the steady decline we have seen in SE token prices, particularly LEO our bread and butter, I need to suspend rewards for delegation temporarily. The new chain forks on Friday, but I don't think Steem Engine or the tribes will be ready and organised by then. A lot will still be on STEEM, but uncertainty reigns and that is usually very bad for token values. I can't guarantee any level of income will be sufficient to cover payouts over the next week or two. Hopefully once the dust settles the future will be clear for all the various factors we are relying on for income - SteemLEO, other tribes, Steem Engine, plus services like steemauto which may or may not still work, may or may not be available on the new chain. There are a lot of factors at play to this set up making money and paying rewards, and I can't be sure all of them will remain available. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ So, for the next 2 weeks minimum, there will be no delegation payouts. All token earnings will be accumulated (nothing sold) but kept liquid for now. Anyone wishing to undelegate - please feel free to do so. My hope is that this will only be for 2 weeks, but I can't be sure. I'll keep everything running as best I can, and update as soon as I know more. Welcome to this weeks update on the @spinvest-leo account. Times continue to be most unfavourable to us, with Tribe tokens still at low and decreasing price levels. My thinking now is that this will persist for a while, until some certainty returns to Steem. Some impact also in the week ahead. ## Payout rate change. * From today, I will adjust the payout rate again to 1 SPI per 1200 LEO delegated (proportionally). * Unavoidable at current LEO price levels. ## Good news: * @metzli is keen to write up a weekly report for @spinvest on an off chain investment. Bila orang tersebut beriman kepada allah dan rasulnya dia akan menghadapi dengan penuh kesabar dan ketabahan dalam melalui musibah tersebut dia pasti yakin bisa melewatinyan dan dia yakin bila setelah musibah datang pasti akan ada hikmah tersebut.. Bila orang tersebut tidak beriman dia akan mencaci allah dengen berkata allah tak Adil kenapa engkau mengambil apa yang aku suka, ini tanda orang yang akan celaka. Terutama saat seperti ini yang kita hadapi seperti penyakit corona,. Kita harus selalu berdoa dan berdekat diri kepadanya supaya kita terhindar dari penyakit tersebut.
