That's an interesting question. There are several many witnesses. You have 30 slots to vote for 30 different witnesses. You can vote directly for your favourite 30 witnesses. Or u can set a proxy. Setting a proxy simply means giving your voting ability to someone you trust to cast your vote for you. For example, @steemgigs is a witness for managed by @surpassinggoogle, you can make @surpassinggoogle your proxy and he will automatically vote for steemgigs for you or another witness he believes in.
