This is such a remarkable piece, and beautifully fits the organ! Your playing is excellent! Samuel Barber is a special composer to me because he went to a high school in the same district as me (back then it was the only one). He actually composed that school's alma mater when he left for Curtis at the age of 15, and now all 3 high schools use the same Alma Mater with different words. Thanks so much for listening. I find playing Adagio works difficult because you really have to pay attention to the beat. I struggled a lot with this. Perhaps I could have even relaxed the tempo even more. So great that you have a connection to Samuel Barber! Do you have any compositions for organ? I'd happily consider recording/playing for you.

Take a hymn tune that you like and compose either a prelude or postlude on it. Something about 2-3 mins in duration. There's a big market for this type of music, especially in the US.
