Beautifully written Karen. We moved to this home from the city three years ago too. We have a little house on a little less than an acre and I am determined to eventually work with and better every inch of it. I am quite the homebody but I try to build a sense of community with at least Lyndsay and fam, and a few other friends I've met nearby. Good on you for getting out of the rat race and finding peace for yourself and your family <3<3

We are so close on the same path! I too want to learn about every nook and cranny of land here. I also prefer to stick close to home, but whenever we visit small towns the feeling I get is like I am missing what is in them. I want to belong to a little tribe....we are still looking for wherever that is. I am glad you have found yours <3 <3 <3
