Hola Steemians, me considero tan afortunada de vivir en una zona de mi país tan rica en bosques y paisaje natural, Caquetá es mi departamento y es   la puerta de entrada a la Amazonía Colombiana. La amazonía se considera el pulmón del mundo y varios países latinos tienen una parte de esta selva espesa.

Me encanta como este artículo de un periódico de mi país, "El Espectador", describe el bosque de niebla.

Los gigantescos árboles silueteados como fantasmas entre la neblina perpetua, recubiertos de musgos y más musgos, cargados de bromelias y orquídeas, de bejucos y de toda clase de plantas epífitas, tienen un aura de misterio que hace de estos bosques lugares casi irreales. A través de los siglos, viajeros y naturalistas han descrito este paisaje como enigmático, mágico, encantado, lúgubre y muchos adjetivos más, que apenas logran describir su grandeza y su inquietante aspecto. Y en verdad, al caminar por estas selvas de montaña en medio de la niebla tiene uno la sensación de que detrás de cada árbol va a aparecer de repente alguna criatura sobrenatural"

Yo tengo la fortuna de tener a solo 30 kilómetros uno de los bosques de niebla mas bajos del mundo, a 1400 msnm. La descripción de este artículo es tal cual. Es una zona de montaña cubierta con árboles de copas espesas, llenos  de musgo, bejucos colgantes, lianas que parecen las de tarzan, orquídeas  y muchas variedades de bromelias que realmente tienen un ambiente de misterio. Esto se debe a que la luz no penetra al suelo por  la espesura del bosque, la presencia de niebla y la humedad.

It is a zone of mountain range covered with trees of thick glasses, full of moss, hanging vines, that look like those of tarzan, orchids and many varieties of bromeliads that really have an atmosphere of mystery. This is due to the fact that the light does not penetrate the ground due to the thickness of the forest, the presence of fog and humidity.

Es un lugar para valientes, no por la presencia de fantasmas si no porque es zona de montaña y requiere buen estado físico,  algo de intrepidez para escalar y amor por la aventura ecológica.  

> It is a place for brave adventurers, not because of the presence of ghosts but because it is a mountain area and requires good physical condition, something of fearlessness to climb and love for ecological adventure.

Apesar de que vivo en el corazón de la ciudad,  tengo el privilegio de divisar a la distancia, una fracción de este bosque, y para ello fue que construí un balcón. 

> Even though I live in the heart of the city, I have the privilege of seeing at a distance, a fraction of this forest, and for that I built a balcony.

Estas fotografías las tomé  hace un par de días, era un característico día gris de invierno, y  justo antes del anochecer de repente se convierte en un maravilloso espectáculo; el reflejo del sol  en el horizonte iluminó bellamente la capa espesa de niebla.

> I took these pictures a couple of days ago, it was a characteristic gray winter day, and just before nightfall it suddenly becomes a wonderful spectacle; the reflection of the sun on the horizon beautifully illuminated the thick layer of fog.

Realmente soy agradecida  por  nuestros recursos naturales,   muchos más  tambien lo están, pero no todo es color de rosa, los efectos nocivos  de las malas desiciones gubernamentales y una cultura ciega e indiferente ya se estan observando. Las petroleras llegaron y se quedaron. Algunas zonas ya estan siendo  afectadas por la contaminación.  Y si la indiferencia continua, el  pulmon del mundo enfermará.

Es una vista realmente hermosa la que tienes desde tu balcón. 

Cuando tenia cerca de nueve años tuve una caminata a una montaña bastante empinada, salimos a las cinco de la mañana y llegamos cerca del medio dia, al regresar no cogió la noche y habia que pasar por un bosque algo tenebroso. 
al llegar al sitio la vista era genial, al ser un lugar de gran altura. Es una lastima que en ese tiempo no tenia una camara, para retratar esos momentos.
