## <center>How do we give, and where will our reward come from?</center>

As I mentioned in my last video, Jesus only mentions one thing pertaining to actually laying up treasures in heaven, and that's giving alms.

When we look at alms more deeply in Matthew 6:1-4, we see that there are two rewards that we could potentially get. The one reward is from man, and the other one is from God. Interestingly enough, the way to receive a reward from God is to give secretly and without others knowing.

It seems interesting once we consider the 501(c)(3) tax deductions that people can claim on their taxes. If this a form of getting a reward from man that negates people getting a reward from God. It's at least interesting to consider, and I do not think that we can get both. Much like in many other areas of our walk, we may need to make a choice and choose one or the other.

First thought that has come to me is you must have posted this at the wrong time because nobody has replied. But then I see you have a good voting group that must agree with you.

Just kidding. I agree, you can't serve two masters. Either we choose life or we choose death. We either believe or we don't. 

I am not saying that there is only black or white but there may not be as much gray as some would have us think.

I just got enough RC to comment more than one post. So, I get it that their are somethings worth waiting for. I got tired of my socialmedia shadow banning or selling my info. And I get rolling here and they changed the rules.

So. God is my center. On everything else I am decentralized. I don't want big brother looking over my shoulder. But I am not afraid of the blockchain and being transparent.

I digress. 

I have held the unpopular position that churches and 501c3 dont belong together. But as you might guess. That is not a popular teaching in most organized religions.

Here we go. I support your ministry. I want to pour out my affection for your little peppers.

Takes 4 days to fully recover do I vote one day and comment the next and when I m done I'm done. I was never sure when it would cut me off. But on partiko now we can tap our avatar and it will tell you so I'm at least not completely in the dark.

Your thought process makes complete sense. God rewards those who give in secret.  I am assuming that regardless if that is given anonymously in the collection plate as cash or handed to a street person down and out, your reward is from God.
