One thing people fail to understand is that It takes time for players to adapt to a new team and in the case of hazard, a different league and also in a  different country. 

Eden hazard is a top player no doubt but it took quite sometime for him to become influential and impactful but this is also understandable considering the fact that he joined madrid at a point in time when the overall team spirit, morale, hunger and confidence was so low.

Thanks to zinedine zidane, a man who understands real madrid in and out, the team is gradually gaining momentum and showing some improvements in their play.

Hopefully the goal and assist hazard got today will boost his confidence level and also ignite his hunger for more goals and might end the season well.
