#### Opinions are like farts.  Everyone puts them out there, but nobody wants to smell your cloud.

There have always been disagreements and to how rewards should be distributed.  

Many don't like  seeing other languages on the platform, but sticking to your own feed limits the ability to find new content to follow.

Some think that flags should be dished out like a water canon at a protest. 

Others feel that downvotes should be reserved for the abusive troll that posts a hundred times per day.

Then there is the argument about what kind of content should be allowed on Steemit.  

# The solution

Let countries and languages find their relative content using a separate platform.   ***Enter Steem-Engine***.

Keep *Instagram-like* content be voted on by an app that only sees photos and videos (like Steepshot or Appics).

Let potheads browse piles of buds, with out being bothered by other kinds of content. 

**Everyone still earns Steem as always**, but **Spaco**,  **Sct**,  **CCC**, **Photo** , **Apx**,  or **Weed** come rolling in as people with similar interests or languages vote on posts.

So what happens when you take every dreamy-eyed crypto enthusiast and you give  them a way to *easily* create their own coin? 

What if each coin owner could run his own Steemit(like) platform?  

Well, the site would be called something else. But it will look and act like Steemit.

This is still in development, and I don't know all the *ins* and *outs* yet.

All votes from other sites are also received on steemit because steemit is the main blockchain. 

Votes given steemit only translate to earnings if the related tag is used.*

Flags on Steem do not impact your *earnings* on other sites.

Flags on other sites do not impact your reputation on Steemit.

Using other sites will increase your followers, and down the line, your earnings in general.

Some of the other sites are clones of early steemit.

Others have implemented new features. 

Some show your **voting power** before you vote and how much that vote will be worth to the recipient.

That's kind of cool!

Now, everyone likes to immediately check how much each coin is in dollars.  

That is the wrong attitude!

There was a guy who spent over 14k bitcoins on a pizza - he was looking at the dollar value. 

If they are not worth much now, hold them. 

Cash them out when they hit the moon. 

**Now is the time to buy into your preferred coin and become a whale.**

You can currently get a million Spaco coins for 800 Steem (or $96.00) and then you would have people looking to you for votes.  It is the fastest way to gain attention/followers.

If you sign on at <a href="https://steem-engine.com">Steem Engine</a> you can see all the coins you have related to your steem user name.  You can collect rewards and stake (power up) or unstake (power down) on all of the platforms , and if you have ever used a trading platform, you can trade there too.  

You cannot accidentally trade coins if you sign on with your posting key.  Give it a try and don't be scared.
