It sounds to me like you are looking at Steemit as a business only, not as we were told it is, a place for people to come together and share their interests and enjoy discovering new talents.

Get rid of all the artists (writers of fiction; poets; photographers, artists who paint, design, sculpt etc), those who post travelogues, recipes and news, science (non-computer) and keep only those who want to post about blockchain; cryptocurrencies and coding.

As you mentioned yourself, from the 10,000 posts, to go down to 100, it means you only need to keep the 1% of posters, so all those I mentioned above, plus others, even those who post religious content (which I do not want to visit, but am happy to let others do so), we are not contributing, according to your definition, so we should leave before you force us out?

It reminds me of the old days with the special sites where, for instance, only hackers may visit and if you were not a hacker, they would penalise you by damaging your os, rather than just closing the door.

I have seen so many posts by 'whales' that did not deserve more than 10c, but they earn in the hundreds of dollars (for instance, just a snapshot; not a photo in HD with great and beautiful detail), after all, why should they bother, they'll get upvoted. Have you upvoted any of them? I haven't.

Why aren't you concentrating on them first?

Luckily I make just about no money and have no bots supporting me, and concentrate more on helping newbies, so I do not fear anyone stopping me or calling me greedy, but I do believe in the opposite of what you do, what is posted, the intrinsic value, as rewarded by those who enjoyed it, they do more to grow Steemit, than all those countless of 'technical' posts about cryptocurrencies which only a smallish incestuous group read and upvote.

I think it is about time all the main investors get together and decide the direction they want Steemit to take and then let us know. Those who are not wanted here can then leave for wherever it is we are wanted.

Oh dear, if there is an exodus, not 99% like you seem to want, but even 30%, what happens to the SBD value? Is that why you are tolerating us, to keep the value high?

I don't understand how any of the social media work and none of them demand I do - only those like you in Steemit do? Do you really want all of us to pack up our bags and go?

I would really love to see comments from the major investors - I think it is important we do. After all, it is their investment that gets decided upon by you each time you attack the majority of the members here.

I trust you will explain why I am wrong, instead of just getting angry?
