To claim that Steemit wasn't using its stake to vote for witnesses is extremely dishonest. Because @misterdelegation @pumpkin wut? Plus, both @ned and @steemit (and I haven't even bothered to look that far into any of their scores of sock accounts) have delegated millions of SP over the years to various "projects" which *do* vote for witnesses.
