I do GAF about users here, not troll users. I know that you aren't the drama queen type, but not everyone knows you that way. I think that many who complain about downvotes do it for attention, but that is not what you have done.

As far as the system goes, there are ways to curb this kind of behavior coming through SMTs and the like, but it takes time. At the end of the day though, just do what you do and think is the right thing, and let the cards fall where they may. 

For every action at the blockchain level, new problems will always arise though so making configuration changes for one abuse will often lead to another, potentially worse to arise. 

You can keep asking publicly of course, it is what should be happening.
