Munich would be great. Some of the top Steemian population centres:

New York City (would probably be quite expensive to run there)
London
Munich
Seoul (seems to be our top city other than NYC)
Aceh (loads of active users but may be difficult for everyone outside of Indonesia).

There's also the really big aspect that someone needs to run the thing and it could be harder to run an event when you don't know the area.
