Thank you everyone for the donations and support on my STEEMFest2 crowdfunding blog! I received about $80 USD in donations and I am estimating the blog will pay out around $120 USD, which put's me a bit closer to my goaI of $1600 USD! I am now only $1400 USD away! And, today, I have a special story to share with you guys about @thewineman's donation.

So, about two hours after I posted my <a href="https://steemit.com/steemfest2/@theprophet0/your-youngest-witness-is-crowdfunding-a-ticket-to-steemfest2">STEEMFest2 crowdfunding blog</a>, I received a message in Steemit.chat from a guy with the name "thewineman". I am usually the, so called, engager in Steemit.chat, meaning I usually reach out to people if I'd like to talk to them. But, that changed on Thursday night when, Michael, AKA @thewineman messaged me. Michael messaged me and asked me a few basic questions like how are your grades, how did you get into crypto, etc... and... well, I answered these questions and he basically offered to donate me money!

Michael is very new to cryptocurrency and he is sort of a self-described, tech-dummy.  Well, back into the story, we chatted for a while, we got to know each other very well in a short amount of time and surprisingly, we have a lot in common! For one, we both love helping people out who need to be helped out and will appreciate it and we also share going to baseball games on our birthdays among a lot of other things!

Anyway, as we were ending out our conversation, he offered to give me $80! But, he couldn't give it in crypto because he is a tech-dummy! So, I did teach him how to buy STEEM, but, it was easier for him to send it on PayPal, so he sent it on PayPal. But we had an agreement. The agreement was that I must use $20-25 of the money he gave me to go to my local coin store and buy a silver coin! P.S. Michael is a collector of a lot of items, that's why he wanted me to get a silver coin, which I really appreciate! So, last Friday, my dad and I went to the local coin store and I bought a $25  Benjamin Franklin, 1961, half-dollar!

On the shelf of coins, there was only one that really caught my eye! And after doing some research on the coin, here is the information I found. Firstly, there is only 8,290,000 1961 Benjamin Franklin half-dollars in existence and secondly, the silver content is right around 90%. Here is a picture of the coin I purchased!

So, all in all, I made a friend in Michael and I am beyond blessed for the donation he gave me! Also, out of mid-air, @kaylinart sent me $10 SBD! I really appreciate the donation, Kaylin, and I hope to meet you at STEEMFest! Also, thank you to all the whales and everyone else who voted on my blog! I really appreciate it and like I said, STEEMFest will be a fantastic learning experience and fun time!

Last night, I had to disable my witness for a couple hours while I upgraded my server so I can run my PeerPlays witness on it as well! Luckily, I did not miss any blocks and I did not have any issues setting up my PeerPlays witness on the PeerPlays test net. Remember, PeerPlays comes out in 3 days!
