I was just thinking about Steemit crowdfunding. Okay, so you can help someone with votes, but you also have to option to send them Steem or SBD. They can do what they want with that. My votes are almost worthless, but I can opt to send someone a 'tip' if I like what they are doing. A whale could give away plenty more without really feeling it if they choose.

I would hope that a culture of giving can develop here. If there can have verified charities like Tsu did then people will give. I have given to a couple of people already when they were trying to raise funds, but I didn't have much to give.
