Therapy is a good thing. Take it in whatever form it manifests itself into at least within a moral landscape. 

Right now as I write this it is 4:00 am. My mind is firing and won’t shut down. If I was on facebook nobody would ever know this fact. I was surprised when I first arrived here on steemit. The #introduceyourself tag included many personal photos dated upon the beginning of a blog career.

I was lead to believe this was more of an anonymous place to hang. To my surprise many people are very personal with their lives here. So much so, that there are health drives to pay for steemian’s medical expenses. 

Are the personas here the same as the ones on their facebook or any other social media platforms? Well if you said “who cares” flip to the bottom and upvote. 

However if you are interested, keep on reading!
Sometimes I think to myself that I definately share more here then what I do when I am on facebook. I find I am more raw in this virtual playground and that’s a good thing. I was towing the line by censoring some of what I say only because of  “perception”. If you want wealth, than convey a more “neutral” position.  

However as I have matured and realized i’m not going to make “mad” money here, I realized I don’t have to mask myself. If I want to be obnoxious I will be. That’s not to say some facebook individuals sometimes post inappropriate things. I voiced used to voice my opinion on facebook maybe 10 years ago. Some would unfriend me just for my opinion.

Now on facebook I basically just observe.  I’m sure some steemians would agree that they are the same way. 

Thinking outside the box is pretty important to me; at least while I’m  here on steemit. It would seem more money more problem at times, at least when it comes to STEEM. So luckily I have no money (STEEM), so no problems!

On steemit I can voice my opinion in a more raw tasteless form (if I wish). I can be any persona I wish to be, and express it in a blog post. It’s like the wild west in many respects. Some bad ombre’s can be found here as well. So don’t dip in another’s playground!

I don’t need to worry about being judged and I express my emotional state any way I wan’t.
In any case there are things on steemit I would never post on facebook. And that’s a good thing.

We all wear masks in life, and sometimes these masks are just reflexions of how we post on steemit. For some, steemit can be a venting ground. For others it could be a pleading ground.

Right now the mask I am currently wearing is more mellow and calm; Self reflective. I don’t care about markdown or getting into the circle jerk reward groups. It just reminds me of censorship and playing by the elites rules. It kinda reminds me of putting on a mask on facebook. So it will be what it will be. Little rewards traded for my personal beliefs. In other words I don’t need to sell out here. 

In any case, followers of mine who have stuck around and put up with my rare tirades I give you respect!


- and no, I didn’t put this in a word processor. I post on my phone and format is sometimes an issue. I also don’t give a shit :)
