Seems like this happens on any network where money is involved and i'm not sure if its really abuse or violations its just shady i guess? Im sure it works pretty good as well.

Thanks @bitcoinflood. It is definitely shady. The problem is getting worse as these users have now started running services like resteem.com and resteemexposure.com!

Shady? Yes. Violation? Not at all. That is the drawback to a non-moderated site....people are free to post and do basically what they want. The only alternative is for people to downvote the individual(s) doing it.....and that costs one voting power. At the end of the day, we can only focus upon our own accounts and leave others to theirs. Some will do shady stuff. It is a part of life I guess. Human greed is a tough thing to overcome.

It is definitely not a violation. The information is already their in the blockchain and these reports are just bringing that to surface. If people are free to do whatever then at least they should have access to what other people are doing :)

I agree 1000%. It is a great idea to expose what others are doing to arm people with information they need. If the same users come up on your list over and over, people should recognize that. I think being such a new platform is causing Steemit to have to feel its way through things. At a certain point in time, the games get exposed. They will have a certain effect on newer people of course but those who are around a few weeks will quickly learn them. Plus, with people such as yourself picking up the baton with posts like this, it helps.
