I've tried creating a TRX account (different STEEM accounts & different browsers), but after clicking Agree it just hangs:

You need to login without a keychain, directly with the active key. 

Strange that no one from the @steemit team will try to help you. They are probably busy making “It worked” postings with all those sock puppet accounts.

hahaha... yeah, "login without keychain" did the trick... thanks!

P.S. Any idea why "redeem rewards" isn't working though? All new rewards are being accumulated to the wallet, but "redeem rewards" is unresponsive and leaves a balance.

I don't know. It's a known bug. That is: we know about it. If the @steemit team took notice I don't know.

- Log in to steemitwallet.com with your active private key, do not use any auth tool(for example: Steem Keychain).
- Log in to steemitwallet.com with a different browser, like firefox, edge, Opera, etc.
- Refresh the page and try again.

If all these steps do not work, please don’t worry, the new version will be online soon and fix related issues. All your TRX can be claimed after the new version online.
