I'm going to share some science in the comments from now on Some gas of an element when it is heated will emit light, when dispersing this light, an emission spectrum will be obtained. This pattern of lines on a dark background is unique to each element, it is, in a simple way to say it as your fingerprint. The study of these spectra in the stars is of great importance, they can give us a lot of information, for example using the Doppler effect. I'll talk more about this in tomorrow's commentary.
