Down votes / flags do not steal anything from you. Everyone on the platform is entitled to vote however they please, up or down, without explanation, with or without reason.

It's a common misconception with the platform but when you get up votes you'll see the value of the post increase, however this is not money which is owed to you, it's called **pending payout**. "Pending" means pending the voting period of 7 days. It's only at the end of that period that you get the payout, only then that you are entitled to the payment.

So it's a free vote before that and you have to take the up votes with the down.

you can see it how you want. But normal people will not put up with this kind of arbitrary bullying especially where no meaningful appeals process. and then people like you victim blaming acting blase about littleboy's bullying. Sure the original downvote is arguable the collateral $17+ is not at all merited especially from someone who is championed as a steemit police. 

Steemit could be revolutionary if normal people join and get into it. Arbitrary rules without due process is unlikely to help with mass adoption.

I'm sorry but that's the way it is. And it's not that bad that it's that way, although if someone take a dislike to you it does suck.

My advice is get a better attitude. You are not entitled to any rewards - _at all_. Only by the votes of others (and you if you're into that) do you get rewards for the pool. I think you maybe feel more entitled because you're self voting too, so you think no one should be able to contradict that. But it's not how it works.

For the record I don't support @littleboy at all and he is **definitely** not known as a "steemit police".
