>Steem Inc has their stake. It's theirs and Steem Inc is own by people which own themselves and their labor.

Ok, I own this rope and ladder, I have a nearby tree, and the ability to tie a noose, should I tie the knots, climb the ladder and jump?

Their conduct only makes sense if they know that the platform will never have value outside the top ~1000 authors and the content that they create.
Because it is early yet they can vote most of the money like they are Harvey Weinstein.
This is their private boys club.

You don't expect me to support them in that endeavor, I hope.

>@misterdelegation delegated more than a million to Steemcleaners.

I further hope that you don't expect me to cheer them for fattening themselves on the backs of the poor.
Every one of those sp takes from authors.
If they delegate 20% of the reward pool each day, 100's of content creators get nothing.

Perhaps if they weren't so busy congratulating themselves on their newfound wealth, and the Harvey perks that come with it, they could begin to consider how to make the place welcoming to 10,000 authors rather than 200.
Wouldn't that do more for the value of steem than giving it to those that sell their grandmothers for shekels?

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the ~5000usd I have been given here, but I would like to see a zero added to that sometime this decade, I got grandkids that love ice cream, too.

I don't see that happening if less than 1000 authors can be interested in creating content on an extended basis.
Do they really want a database full of cat videos and 'look at me spend money' posts?
Maybe latte art?

You have seen the content I put out, what would happen if the world actually read the links I push out there?
If my proposal got me elected King of the World?
http://facebook.com/proclaimation

Don't you want to see rule by force pass from the earth?
That won't happen playing the same game over and over.

Misterdelgation delegation to steemclearner is mostly being use to flag post reward that are taking from the reward pool and those rewards are return to the pool.

Everyone would love not dying of lacking money. If you think people are trying to sabotage their investments then you wouldn't be here.

The Steem are being distributed according to the will of the stakeholders.

Yes, I get that, and it is hard to complain about.

I still think that something needs to be devised to give bounties on spam and copy pasta rather than taking from the already too small pool meant for authors.
Making a pool for steemcleaner bounties would reduce the reward pool in proportion, but instead of relying on votes to get paid we compete for the bounties.

> If you think people are trying to sabotage their investments then you wouldn't be here.

I am just here to beat my 'reject rule by force' drum, the money is a bonus.

I don't think they are intentionally trying to tank the platform, but neither are they doing their best to spread the love enough to interest a larger crowd.
I think they are content to vote their friends and sockpuppets as long as the community lets them.
The community will need to step up and denounce behaviors that feed the few at the cost of the many.

Is there any question that vote selling is harming the quality of the content and lower the author rewards that go to creators that create content with actual value to the platform?

>The Steem are being distributed according to the will of the stakeholders.

Yep, and those with the most are favoring their friends/workers over 'good' content creators.

But it IS theirs to do with as they please, just as I get to voice an opinion about it.

And it is my opinion that when a sizable chunk of the sp that gets voted is in the hands of insular people, folks who only vote friends/sycophants, those not approved by that 40% suffer.

I got no problem with folks voting their sp, I do have a problem with folks gaming the system to reward their friends, or punish those they disagree with. @skeptic @technocomanche

@statsmonkey puts out good content, but he can't get any love from tptb.
